Round shank is designed for use in power drills, drill presses, and boring machines with 1/2" or larger chuck. This is a great bit for drilling holes for Impel Rods as it pull the shavings out of the hole and allows you to inspect the condition of the wood shavings.

Purchase a drill bit 1/8” larger than the rod size you will be purchasing so the rod slides in easily. Our wood plugs are 1/8” larger than the hole to insure a tight fit.
